2020 Porsche Cayenne trims

2020 Cayenne

By far the biggest change for 2020 is the addition of a new body style. The Cayenne Coupe makes its debut this year, bringing just a little bit more sportiness to the already sporty Cayenne lineup. The Coupe features a fastback-style roofline, though despite its name, the "Coupe" does indeed still have four doors. Comparing the two vehicles in profile side by side shows just how aggressive the Coupe's lines are when compared to the standard Cayenne. The downside to the new body is slightly less head room for rear passengers, as that sloped roof line, while great for aerodynamics, does pay a penalty in interior space.

Changes to the front and rear lighting fit beautifully with the sharpened front grille and updated body lines. The identity of the interior is familiar to Porsche Panamera design but features a more dynamic digital landscape that straddles the line of classic and modern design.

2013 Porsche Cayenne trims

2013 Cayenne

2013 Brings a couple of additions to the Cayenne model range. For the first time in the US, the Cayenne is available with a diesel engine. It's a turbocharged V6 unit making 240 horsepower and a whopping 406 lb-feet of torque. Rated at 29 mpg on the highway, the Cayenne Diesel is theoretically capable of traveling 740 miles on a single tank. The Cayenne GTS also makes its return to the Cayenne lineup for 2013. The GTS occupies the space between the S and the Turbo in Porsche's lineup. Lower and with a meaner appearance than the S, the GTS also makes an additional 20 horsepower thanks to a sportier exhaust system. Acceleration is improved through a shorter final drive ratio. Featuring a couple of unique trim pieces and unique 20-inch wheels, the GTS features much of the aggression of the Turbo at a lower price point.

2010 Cayenne

Big news for the 2010 Porsche Cayenne line is the addition of a new gas/electric hybrid version as well as a limited edition S Transsyberia model. The hybrid is what Porsche calls a "full hybrid," which means it can run on either one of its two power sources independently or together, depending on driving needs. The gas engine is a direct-injected 3.0L Audi V6, which is joined by an electric drive and an 8-speed automatic transmission, and Porsche claims the combination delivers 385 horsepower and 25% better fuel economy than a regular V6-equipped Cayenne. The S Transsyberia model features unique exterior styling, available off-road lights, and four additional colors, as well as the 4.8L 405-horsepower engine from the GTS. The GTS sees the addition of new 21-inch wheels and Porsche's Air Suspension Management, which allows the driver to select between sport and comfort modes. The 2004 Cayenne now offered a V6 engine option for buyers. Porsche added the hill-holder clutch, a powered liftgate, updated and body-colored fascias and optional panoramic sunroof for 2005.
