The 2009 Mitsubishi Raider remains virtually unchanged from last year. The base model with manual transmission gets an adjustable steering wheel and auxiliary input jacks are no longer available at any trim level.
SelectBrowse ListingsFor 2008, Mitsubishi's durable Raider pickup range has been further narrowed to better target the truck to consumers. The DuroCross model has been discontinued, as has the SE. The optional 235-horsepower V8 has also been dropped, leaving the 3.7L V6 as the sole powerplant. LS-level trucks in either one extended cab style or two double cab styles are the only available models in the lineup. All Raiders receive a revised dashboard.
SelectBrowse ListingsThe Mitsubishi Raider line has been streamlined for 2007 and refocused toward value and low operating costs. Last year's most luxurious XLS trim has been discontinued, a few features such as the hands-free Bluetooth interface and high-output audio option have been dropped, and the sporty DuroCross is only available in a single model. Side curtain air bags and all-wheel drive are no longer offered. Overall, the line is now limited to one extended cab model and three Double Cab models.
SelectBrowse ListingsIn 2006, Mitsubishi unveiled the all-new Raider pickup truck, finally adding a truck into their fleet (for the first time since they discontinued the Mighty Max). It offered several body styles and either a V6 or a V8 engine. For 2007, new body styles were offered, including Double Cab and an extended cab model. The V8 was now only offered in the SE trim and some tweaks to other trims were made, too. In 2008, the V8 engine was discontinued, leaving only the V6. The truck would coast through its final production year in 2009 unchanged.
