Modifying the design of the recently released 570S, the McLaren 570GT's introduction for the 2017 model year provides additional practicality to the British sports car builder's entry-level vehicle. A mid-engined, two-passenger sports car, the key design characteristic for the 570GT is an emphasized by a glass hatch. Resulting in a longer greenhouse appearance than the 570S, the longer glass section is created for increased cargo capacity. Accessible through the glass hatch or inside by folding the front seats, a 220-liter (7.76-cubic foot) capacity touring deck combines with the 5.3 cubic feet front cargo space. The expanded storage capacity allows McLaren performance to be enjoyed through everyday driving. Special McLaren luggage is available for the 570GT supercar meant to purposely fit the cargo area. Between the windshield and the glass hatch, the McLaren 570GT has into incorporated a panoramic roof.
