For 2010, the Exige S models get a new rear wing design, along with new front-end styling. The lineup remains two models--the S 240 and the race-focused S 260.
SelectBrowse ListingsThe basic Exige S and the exclusive Club Racer have been dropped from the line-up for 2009, which now consists of just two models: the Exige S240 and the new Exige S260. The S240 continues on unchanged from 2008, while the S260 features the same supercharged 1.8-liter inline four offered in the S 240, but tuned to put out 257 horsepower and 174 lb-ft of torque.
SelectBrowse ListingsLotus adds two new models to its Exige lineup for 2008. Bolstering the solid performance of the supercharged 218-horsepower Exige S is the new 240-horsepower Exige S 240, as well as a limited-production Exige S Club Racer, with just 20 units slated for U.S. delivery. The S240 starts at $64,890, while the exclusive Club Racer slots in at $67,995. New additions to all Exige cars include a revised instrument cluster with added vehicle information, a softer dashboard, and an alarm with engine immobilizer. New color options have been added as well.
SelectBrowse ListingsFor 2007, Lotus addressed what most buyers thought was the sole weakness of the Exige--that 190 horsepower was not enough. They added a supercharger to the engine, and now it now makes 220 horsepower and 165 ft-lbs of torque. Since the 2007 model is more powerful, Lotus added an "S" to the name. Otherwise the 2007 Exige is unchanged from the previous year.
