2014 3 Series Gran Turismo

The BMW 3-Series Gran Turismo is an all-new model for 2014. It features the elegant coupe-like, rear-sloping roof design and profile of the larger 5-Series GT. Compared to the 3-Series sedan, the GT is more than three inches taller and nearly eight inches longer. It is offered as an all-wheel-drive model in 328i xDrive trim, with a 240-horsepower turbocharged 2.0L inline-4, and 335i xDrive trim, with a 300-horsepower turbocharged 3.0L inline-6. The new 3-Series Gran Turismo has a starting MSRP of $41,450.

About 3 Series Gran Turismo

A body style concept debuting with the larger 5 Series sedan as a base platform, the sporty hatchback Gran Turismo treatment was applied to the BMW 3 Series in 2014. Performance-centric yet also billed as practical, the five-door body style appearance of the BMW 3 Series Gran Turismo is supported through a long overall length of 190 inches. Compared to the 328i sedan, the 2014 BMW 3 Series Gran Turismo is 7.5 inches longer from bumper to bumper.


Standard exterior features found on the 2014 BMW 3 Series Gran Turismo includes dual moonroof, automatic headlights, rain sensing windshield wipers and 17-inch aluminum wheels. Offered exclusively with xDrive all-wheel drive, the 2014 BMW 3 Series Gran Turismo is offered as a 328i and a 335i configuration. A turbocharged 2.0-liter BMW TwinPower Turbo engine powers the BMW 328i Gran Turismo. Generating 240-horsepower, the high-tech powerplant of the 2014 BMW 328i Gran Turismo features gasoline direct injection, Valvetronic, and is supported by an Auto Start-Stop function. On the BMW 335i Gran Turismo, a 3.0-liter TwinPower Turbo inline-six engine propels the vehicle.


Both versions of the 2014 BMW 3 Series Gran Turismo feature an eight-speed automatic transmission with steering-mounted paddle shifters. Average fuel economy for the 2014 BMW 328i Gran Turismo is rated at around 27 miles per gallon while the 335i Gran Turismo posts around 25 miles per gallon. Comfortably seating five passengers, the interior of the 2014 BMW 3 Series Gran Turismo presents a cargo volume superior to its sedan counterpart. Storage space inside the BMW 3 Series Gran Turismo with the rear seating up is 18.4 cubic feet, but can be expanded to 56.5 cubic feet when the rear bench seats are folded down.
