Bentley is celebrating their 100th year as a car manufacturer this year and have chosen to help celebrate the occasion with a new special edition of the Mulsanne. Dubbed the W.O. Edition by Mulliner, the name refers to Walter Owen Bentley who founded the company in 1919. The W.O. Edition can be had on any trim level and features unique badging and black wheels and one truly unique feature: a piece of the crankshaft from Walter Owen Bentley's original 8-liter car displayed in the rear armrest. The crankshaft from that vehicle has been cut into 100 pieces with each of the 100 special edition cars getting a small, unique piece of history on display as part of their opulent interiors.

The Mulsanne gets a long wheelbase version for 2017 for extra rear seat comfort. Dubbed the Mulsanne Extended Wheelbase, the new car grows by about ten inches, offering even more rear seat room and comfort for occupants. Rather than having a rear bench seat, the Extended Wheelbase Mulsanne offers two bucket seats as well as an ornate center console that houses everything from USB ports to pen holders. The rear seats can also be equipped with a folding table for people who need to get some work done back there.

It is said that the formation of each Bentley Mulsannes interior takes between 165 and 170 hours to complete. Found standard on the 2011 Mulsanne was a 60-gigabyte hard drive capable of storing navigation and audio files as well as a 14-speaker Naim stereo system with a 2,200-watt amplifier. For the 2014 model year, the Bentley Mulsanne sedan received several equipment enhancements such as redesigned headrests and footrests. A Wi-Fi router was also added to the option list of the 2014 Mulsanne.
