The 2026 Aston Martin Vanquish undergoes a complete redesign, highlighted by the debut of the Volante convertible. This new open-top variant features a fabric roof that retracts in just 14 seconds at speeds up to 31 mph. To maintain structural integrity without a fixed roof, Aston Martin added specialized bracing which, along with the power-top mechanism, increases the vehicle's weight by just over 200 pounds. Despite this addition, a bespoke suspension calibration ensures the Volante convertible delivers handling performance on par with the Coupe. The Vanquish remains ultra-exclusive, with fewer than 1,000 units produced globally each year.

Derived from the Project Vantage concept car of 1998, the 2002 Aston Martin Vanquish was only available as a coupe shaped by aluminum body panels. Constructed on a bonded aluminum chassis with carbon fiber components, the 2002 model featured 460-horsepower from a 5.9-liter 12-cylinder engine. The V12 engine of the Aston Martin Vanquish paired with a six-speed transmission, operated with electro-hydraulic paddle shifters. Coinciding with its debut in the marketplace, a Tungsten Silver-colored Aston Martin Vanquish appeared in the James Bond movie “Die Another Day”. Acceleration times for the 2013 model from 0 to 62 miles per hour is estimated within 4.1 seconds. Inside, a standard infotainment system and lightweight seating provides the Aston Martin Vanquish riders with a rich, leather environment. For 2014, the first convertible version of the Aston Martin Vanquish called the Vanquish Volante will be sold featuring a retractable soft top.
