New for 2016:Cadillac

When momentum is rolling in your favor, it’s best to roll with it. Such is the case with Cadillac, as it ushers in the 2016 model year with rides that cover the gamut from the high-performance 640-horsepower CTS-V to an all-new Cadillac CT6 full-size sedan offered with all-wheel drive (AWD) and a considerable focus on rear-seat comfort. Under the 2016 Cadillac umbrella you’ll also find the moderately updated Escalade SUV, XTS sedan, and ELR electric car. They’re joined by the ATS (upon which the 464-horsepower ATS-V is based), boasting a more powerful V-6 with cylinder deactivation and revised safety packages.

Following is an overview of new or updated features for each 2016 Cadillac model:

2016 Cadillac ATS

  • Added content in Driver Awareness and Safety and Security packages
  • Updated CUE infotainment system includes Apple CarPlay
  • Start/stop assist with turbocharged 4-cylinder engine
  • More powerful V-6 engine now features cylinder deactivation and start/stop assist
  • Available 8-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters
  • Cocoa Bronze Metallic, Moonstone Metallic, and Stellar Black Metallic paint colors
  • High-performance ATS-V (coupe and sedan) with 464-horsepower, twin-turbo V-6 engine

 2016 Cadillac CT6

  • All-new, full-size rear-wheel-drive (RWD) or AWD sedan
  • V-6 and turbocharged 4-cylinder engines
  • Available 400-horsepower, twin-turbocharged, 3.0-liter V-6 engine with cylinder deactivation
  • 8-speed automatic transmission
  • Recordable 360-degree exterior camera view
  • 10.2-in. CUE infotainment screen
  • Several updated safety systems
  • Heated and cooled power rear seats with massage and lumbar functions
  • Optional 34-speaker Bose audio system

 2016 Cadillac CTS-V

  • High-performance sport sedan redesigned for 2016 after skipping the 2015 model year
  • Supercharged, 640-horsepower, 6.2-liter V-8 engine
  • 8-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters
  • Carbon fiber hood, splitter, spoiler, and rear diffuser
  • Upgraded CUE infotainment system with Apple CarPlay technology
  • Optional high-definition video and data recorder
  • Revised chassis

2016 Cadillac ELR

  • Upgraded CUE infotainment system features Apple CarPlay
  • Wi-Fi connectivity via OnStar
  • Retuned chassis for improved handling
  • Increased horsepower and torque ratings

2016 Cadillac Escalade

  • Updated CUE infotainment system features Apple CarPlay
  • Available lane-keep assist safety technology
  • Dark Emerald Green, Crystal White Tricoat, Red Passion Tintcoat, and Gray Silk Metallic paint colors

 2016 Cadillac SRX

  • Slight changes to color offerings and equipment packages
  • Expected to be replaced by the all-new Cadillac XT5

 2016 Cadillac XTS

  • Updated CUE infotainment system with Apple CarPlay
  • Restyled grille
  • Red Passion Tintcoat, Crystal White Tintcoat, and Stellar Black Metallic paint colors
