New for 2019:Ram

This is a big year for Ram. It kicked off with a completely redesigned 1500 light-duty pickup truck, then Ram improved and expanded its ProMaster commercial van fleet, and finally the brand’s heavy-duty pickup trucks arrived, heavily revised versions of the previous 2500 and 3500 models.

2019 Ram 1500

  • Redesigned full-size light-duty pickup truck
  • Quad Cab and crew cab styles with standard or short cargo box
  • Six trim levels ranging from basic Tradesman to luxurious Limited, each with its own grille design, wheels, and other visual cues
  • Rebel trim now offered for Quad Cab models
  • Standard eTorque light electrification to improve efficiency of 305-hp 3.6-liter V6
  • Optional 395-hp 5.7-liter V8 with or without eTorque technology
  • Standard 8-speed automatic transmission
  • Available 4-wheel drive, air suspension, Off-Road Package with 1-inch factory lift
  • Maximum payload rating of 2,300 pounds
  • Maximum tow rating of 12,750 lbs.
  • Larger and more sophisticated interior
  • New driver assistance, collision avoidance, and infotainment systems

2019 Ram 1500 Classic

 

  • Looking for a deal on a full-size truck? Get the old Ram 1500 Classic instead of the new one.
  • Available in Tradesman, Express and Big Horn trim in regular cab, Quad Cab, and crew cab configurations
  • A 305-hp 3.6-liter V6 is standard, with a 5.7-liter V8 optional
  • 4-wheel drive is available, along with a limited number of options

2019 Ram Heavy Duty

  • Heavily modified and improved version of previous Heavy Duty model
  • Restyled exterior is new from the windshield forward, with redesigned wheels, new tailgate, taillights, and rear bumper
  • New frames, axles, braking systems, and suspension
  • Standard 6.4-liter V8 with two optional Cummins turbo-diesel 6-cylinder engines
  • Most powerful Cummins option makes a whopping 1,000 lb.-ft. of torque
  • Maximum towing capacity is 35,100 lbs.
  • Maximum payload capacity is 7,680 lbs.
  • Redesigned and quieter interior with improved materials, upgraded climate control, and more modern technology
  • Returns in six trim levels, including Power Wagon

2019 Ram ProMaster

  • Ram’s full-size van benefits from improved payload and towing capacity
  • ProMaster can tow up to 6,800 lbs., and carry as much as 4,680 lbs.
  • Three new versions debut, all with a 136-inch wheelbase and a low or high roof
  • New Ram Telematics technology, powered by Verizon, tracks vehicle and driver behavior data
  • Minor styling updates include a new grille with RAM lettering, and black bumpers and side panels
  • New options include black steel wheels, a Trailer Tow Group with a Class IV hitch, side rear windows with steel grates, polycarbonate side rear windows, and LED interior lighting
