New for 2019:Jeep

Jeep updates the Cherokee for 2019, restyling the SUV to align it with the smaller Compass and larger Grand Cherokee. The entry-level Jeep, the Renegade, gets a refresh including a new turbocharged 4-cylinder engine. Most models add new safety features for 2019, and both the Cherokee and Grand Cherokee benefit from next-generation Uconnect infotainment systems.

  • Freshened styling aligns Cherokee with other Jeep SUVs
  • New turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder is optional
  • New Active Drive I all-wheel-drive system improves efficiency
  • Revised suspension tuning for improved ride and handling
  • Next-generation Uconnect infotainment systems
  • Wider cargo area increases cargo capacity
  • Available hands-free power rear liftgate

2019 Jeep Compass

  • Sport and Latitude trims include a Uconnect infotainment system with a larger 7-inch display
  • New Upland special edition based on Sport trim installs a Trailhawk look with a front skid plate, gloss black exterior trim, silver interior accents, chrome exhaust outlet
  • New High Altitude option package for Limited trim adds Satin Gloss Granite wheels and trim, gunmetal interior accents, a Premium Lighting Group, Tungsten interior stitching and an 8.4-inch Uconnect infotainment system with navigation
  • The Advanced Safety Group option package adds adaptive cruise control
  • A new Premium Lighting Group option package equips Compass with bi-Xenon headlights, LED running lights, and LED taillights
  • New paint color: Sting Gray

2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee

  • Standard equipment blind spot monitoring system and rear cross-traffic alert
  • Limited trim adds new next-generation Uconnect infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and navigation
  • Limited X trim debuts with revised front and rear bumper designs, a performance hood, new 20-inch wheels with a Granite Crystal finish, and Granite Crystal exterior trim
  • Limited X interior has heritage-pattern perforated leather seats and special trim finishes
  • New wheel designs offered for Overland and Summit trim levels
  • New paint colors: Sting Gray, Slate Blue, Green

2019 Jeep Renegade

  • Updated front styling and wheel designs, including a new 19-inch wheel option for Latitude and Limited trims
  • New turbocharged 1.3-liter 4-cylinder engine is optional for Sport and Latitude, standard for Limited and Trailhawk
  • New turbocharged engine makes 177 horsepower and 200 lb.-ft. of torque, comes with active grille shutters in all but Trailhawk models
  • LED Lighting Group option installs LED headlights, running lights, and taillights
  • Advanced Tech Group option adds adaptive cruise control, front parking sensors, automated steering for parallel and perpendicular parking
  • Interior has updated instrumentation
  • New paint colors: Slate Blue, Sting Gray, Bikini

2019 Jeep Wrangler

  • Old Wrangler JK is discontinued, leaving the redesigned JL as the only Wrangler model for 2019
  • Advanced Safety Group option package adds adaptive cruise control and a forward collision warning system
