Honda's first family-tailored sport utility vehicle (SUV) was the Passport (essentially a rebranded Isuzu Rodeo). Shortly following the introduction of the Honda Passport, the Japanese auto company produced their first-generation CR-V compact SUV. Becoming one of the most popular vehicles of its segment, the Honda CR-V offers available all-wheel drive alongside fuel-efficient four-cylinder powerplants. Directly replacing the Passport was the Honda Pilot built on a larger crossover vehicle frame. Up to eight passenger capacity has been offered with the Pilot that has entered into its third generation model for 2016.
