About HR-V

Creating a smaller alternative based on the Fit subcompact car's platform, Honda rolled out the HR-V compact crossover vehicle for the 2016 model year. Almost 10 inches shorter in overall length than the current CR-V, the wheelbase of the Honda HR-V is only slightly shorter than the first-generation CR-V introduced back in 1997. The affordably-priced Honda HR-V appearance is a combination of a coupe-like sportiness and urban utility vehicle practicality. Up to 58.8 cubic feet of cargo space can be optimized aided by the presence of Honda's Magic Seat in the second row providing a number of seating options. Engine power for the 2016 Honda HR-V is derived from a 1.8-liter i-VTEC engine generating 141 horsepower. Front-wheel drive or Real Time All-wheel drive is available with a continuously variable transmission. A six-speed manual gearbox can also be found on front-wheel drive equipped HR-V models. Standard features found on the Honda HR-V include cruise control, rearview camera, Bluetooth connectivity and 17-inch alloy wheels.
