Chevrolet’s truck offerings have been some of the longest-running in automaker history, yet the manufacturer continues to bring welcome improvements to its Silverado and Colorado lines year after year. The midsize Colorado and its impressive fuel economy returns for 2018 with slight enhancements to its tech features, including a new 7-inch touchscreen system with MyLink radio and Android and Apple integration and heated outside mirrors for upper trim levels. A new trim level also graces the Colorado to commemorate its 100th year and includes exclusive badging and style elements, 18-inch wheels, and a Centennial Blue exterior. The Silverado 1500, 2500HD and 3500HD all get the new 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, too, plus a rearview camera and a six-speaker sound system. The tire pressure monitoring system for the Silverado line includes an upgrade that sends alerts to the driver when optimal tire pressure is reached. Chevy’s LCF work trucks remain mostly unchanged for the model year.
