While Lincoln's sedan lineup received a massive alteration for 2017, the luxury brand's crossover vehicle line feature more gradual changes for the new model year. A more extravagantly equipped MKC compact premium crossover serves as a highlight of year-to-year changes for Lincoln. Along with an upgraded SYNC 3 system incorporating Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Power liftgate and Auto Hold function is added to the standard features list of the 2017 Lincoln MKC. Auto Start-Stop is also available with the all-wheel drive MKC fitted with the 2.0-liter engine. No notable changes have been made to the remaining Lincoln crossover lineup. The mid-sized MKX crossover and the 7-passenger MKT remain committed to a car-like ride with optional twin-turbocharged engines. The truck-based 2017 Lincoln Navigation luxury sport utility vehicle combines spacious interior comfort with the ability to two up to 9,000 pounds.
