For 2017, BMW performance seekers are now offered with a new entry-level coupe under the M line. The 2017 BMW M2 furnishes the compact 2 Series with a 365-horsepower, TwinPower turbo engine. Capable of accelerating from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 4.1 seconds, the M2 Coupe comes well-appointed with 19-inch forged aluminum wheels, carbon fiber trim and a seven-speed M Double Clutch transmission. A new 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine is now equipped on the BMW 2-Series Coupe and Convertible models. The new 2.0-liter powerplant is also introduced to the BMW 4 Series line for 2017 along with an improved 320-horsepower 3.0-liter engine. Wireless charging and an upgraded iDrive system is included with the 6 Series range for 2017. The plug-in hybrid BMW i8 sport coupe remains mainly unchanged.
