2012 Acura RDX Review
Overview
With its sophisticated new styling the 2012 RDX is an aesthetic triumph as well as a technological tour de force. The RDX artfully combines the low weight and economy of a four cylinder with a power and authority of a high performance V6 thanks to its turbocharged intercooled 2.3-litere dual overhead cam IVTEC 4-cylinder engine. The engine features Acura's variable flow turbocharger technology that's designed to drastically reduce turbo lag. Though it has the same all other attributes of conventional all-wheel drive Acura developed its revolutionary super handling all wheel drive system to enhance high performance dry road handling. The sophistication of the RDX interior begins with a plush feel of the seats which are ergonomically designed then continues with review camera steering wheel controls voice recognition and so much more. Acura utilizes advanced compatibility engineering body structure to enhance occupant protection and crash compatibility in frontal crashes. The RDX is equipped with a sophisticated six airbag system which includes two front and two front side airbags and two side curtain airbags with coverage for the front and rear outboard seats.
