The Range Rover brand celebrates 40 years since its humble introduction as a largely utilitarian vehicle. Based on the Supercharged version of the Range Rover, the Autobiography Black package returns as a limited edition commemoration with fewer than 200 examples expected for the United States. Heated and cooled seats, blind-spot warning system as well as a 1,200-watt, 19-speaker audio system accompanies the unique appearance of the 2011 Range Rover Autobiography Black edition. On the Range Rover and Range Rover Sport models for 2011, the Terrain Response system has been upgraded. Hill Start Assist and Gradient Acceleration Control provide enhanced off-road handling for the luxury sport utility vehicles. Following sweeping improvements to the other three Land Rover products in 2010, the LR2 receives its turn for the 2011 model year. Updates made to the 2011 Land Rover LR2 includes a retouched front grille, taillights and standard body-color matching components such as bumpers and door handles.
