Tops drop on two popular Audi models for 2010 for the first time. The Audi R8 Spyder debuts with the supercar's V-10 engine and the 2010 A5 now appears as a Cabriolet. The sport-oriented, eight-cylinder powered S5 can also be ordered with the convertible body style. The Audi A3 loses its 3.5-liter V-6 powerplant for 2010 but receives another. A 2.0-liter TDI Clean Diesel is now offered on the United States spec version of the A3 permitting fuel economy up to 42 miles per gallon during highway driving. Offered with three powerplants to choose from, the 2010 Audi Q7 crossover features a new look accented by a new grille and lower body panels. The seven-passenger interior of the Q7 has also been reworked for 2010 for greater comfort. A new Audi S4 arrives for 2010 propelled by a 333-horsepower, supercharged 3.0-liter V-6 engine. The 2010 S4 also presents buyers the option of a seven-speed S tronic dual-clutch transmission. For 2010, the Audi A4 no longer offers a six-cylinder engine or the Cabriolet model. The 2010 Audi A8 model is also lighter with the subtraction of the A8 L W12 and the performance-oriented S8.
