2018 Hyundai Sonata ratings and reviews
Lots of things are new on the 2018 Hyundai Sonata. The car has a new design on the interior and exterior, new tech and a new transmission. The 2018 Sonata has a choice of five, four-cylinder engine. The standard option is a 2.4-liter inline-4 with 185-horsepower. There's also a turbocharged 2-liter model with 245 horsepower and an 8-speed automatic transmission. The Eco model offers a 1.6-liter turbocharged engine with 178 horsepower and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Two hybrid Sonatas are also available for the 2018 model year. One's a plug-in model with a battery pack that provides up to 27 miles of range as electric-only. Both hybrid options have a 2.0-liter gasoline engine and 6-speed automatic transmission. For 2018, the base level Sonata is gone, and the SE level takes it place. Standard features include seven airbags, electronic brake assist, heated side mirrors, blind spot detection, and a 6-speaker audio system.
