2017 Lexus RX ratings and reviews
New for this year, the 2017 Lexus RX now comes with the Lexus Safety Sense+ suite of features as standard in all trims. These features include lane departure and pre-collision warnings, automatic emergency braking, cruise control, HUD and automatic high beams. While these features are common in luxury cars like the Lexus RX, what’s under the hood is less-so. The RX is powered by a 3.5L V6 engine that uses the D5-S fuel injection system for direct fuel injection and conventional port injection for the perfect performance and fuel economy. This engine is capable of producing 295 horsepower through the eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. There is also the RX 450h, a hybrid version which utilizes an electric battery to reduce emissions. Both the hybrid and gas models can be upgraded with the sports package which adds sporty features like 20-inch wheels, stylish bodywork and sport-tuned adaptive suspension for a more comfortable ride.
