2016 Buick LaCrosse ratings and reviews

One of Buick's goals in recent years was to remake itself as a "hip" carmaker, targeted at younger luxury auto buyers. It's succeeded in doing so with the 2016 LaCrosse, a full-size sedan that's full of up-to-date tech. New for 2016 is a more robust IntelliLink system, complete with two USB ports and a new display. Other bits of technology include a head-up display, which shows audio controls, speed, navigation, and song title on the lower edge of the windshield. There's also a built-in 4G LTE and WiFi hotspot. Standard features also include a rearview camera, six-month subscription to OnStar, three-month trial of SiriusXM radio, and Bluetooth. Brake assist, six airbags, and stability and traction control are all included safety features. Two engine choices are available, a 2.4-liter 4-cylinder with eAssist, which provides regenerative braking, and a 3.6-liter V6. Both have a six-speed automatic transmission, and AWD is available on the V6.
