Subaru celebrates its 50-year anniversary as an auto brand in 2018 as a popular source for all-wheel drive cars with a sense of premium refinement. For 2018, the Subaru Crosstrek is completely redesigned as a longer, wider crossover vehicle. Featuring a more mature yet rugged exterior design and larger interior area, the 2018 Crosstrek is powered by a direct-injected Boxer engine that produces 152 horsepower. Subaru's Active Torque Vectoring comes standard on the new crossover resulting in more regulated cornering. The Legacy sedan and the related Outback adventure wagon have been refined with refreshed styling for 2018 while the ride of both models has also been retuned for improved smoothness. Subaru's two most provocative performance cars are bolstered by unique-trimmed limited edition models for 2018. The Subaru WRX STI Type RA features an upgraded 310-horsepower turbocharged 2.5-liter engine, Bilstein dampers, six-piston front brakes as well as a carbon fiber roof panel and pedestal wing. Tailored for greater agility, the 2018 Subaru BRZ tS comprises of 18-inch lightweight wheels mounted to Michelin Pilot Sport tires, Sachs dampers and an adjustable carbon fiber rear spoiler. Only 500 examples of each special edition vehicle will be produced.
