About Baja

Introduced in 2003, the Baja was a beefed up version of the Outback that featured an open cargo bed. In 2004, a turbocharged model was added to the lineup, offering 210 horsepower. Subaru also updated the suspension, with a new ground clearance of 8.2”. A 12-volt power outlet, net pocket and prewired rally lights were added as standard features in 2005. The Baja would cruise into 2006 unchanged.
