2015 Q40

INFINITI's entry-level sport sedan, the G37, took the year off in 2014. In the meantime, the luxury carmaker introduced the Q50 as its replacement. For 2015, however, the G37 returns -- virtually unchanged from its 2013 form -- but is rebadged as the Q40. The car comes in one trim, with either rear- or all-wheel drive, and is powered by the venerable 3.7L V6, which makes 328 horsepower. A 7-speed automatic is the only transmission available. EPA-estimated fuel economy for the rear-drive car is 19 mpg in the city and 27 mpg on the highway.

About Q40

Taking the position of being INFINITI's entry-level sedan for 2015, the Q40 was last known as the G37 sedan in 2013. Sharing its front end appearance with the Q60 Coupe and Q60 Convertible, the four-door Q40 came exquisitely equipped for a low-cost luxury vehicle. HID headlights, integrated chrome spoiler and 17-inch alloy wheels were found on the outside of the INFINITI Q40 while a well-appointed cabin featured standard leather seating, dual-zone automatic temperature control as well as Intelligent Key System with push button ignition. Power for the INFINITI Q40 sedan came from a 3.7-liter V-6 engine incorporating VVEL (Variable Valve Event & Lift) that generates 328 horsepower. With engine power channeled through a seven-speed automatic transmission, the Q40 performance met the ground with rear-wheel drive or an optional ATTESA E-TS All-Wheel Drive system. Production for the INFINITI Q40 was short-lived as the car was discontinued after just one year.
