In 2010, the Maserati GranTurismo Convertible rolled off the line, offering a brand-new model that was entirely based upon the popular GranTurismo Coupe. It featured nearly identical interior and exterior options, save for the addition of the convertible feature. It was powered by a Ferrari-inspired 4.7-liter V8 engine that was rated at 433 horsepower. The GranTurismo Convertible remained unchanged for 2011 and 2012. However, in 2013, the car received a plethora of updates. The carmaker added new brakes, a new automatic and programmable transmission, and updated the interior and exterior styling.
