The only Subaru product available for 2019 with two-wheel drive, the rear-wheel driven BRZ sports car provides breezy performance with a small yet potent Subaru Boxer engine and a platform based around an ultra-low center of gravity. A rear-wheel drive setup combined with a Torsen limited-slip differential, electric power steering and a responsive suspension results in crisp, balanced handling. For 2019, a rear wheel opening arch fin is included on the BRZ for extra aerodynamic stability. Using direct and indirect port injection, the BRZ’s 2.0-liter four-cylinder powerplant generates 205 horsepower and 156 pound-feet of torque. The choice of a six-speed manual gearbox or a six-speed automatic transmission is available with the 2019 Subaru BRZ. A Subaru STARLINK multimedia system with 6.2-inch touchscreen and a leather-wrapped steering wheel comes standard on the Premium trim 2019 BRZ while the higher-end Limited adds a larger 7.0-inch touchscreen, Alcantara seat inserts as well as LED fog lights. Additionally, 250 examples of the Subaru BRZ Series.Gray will be sold with unique black alloy wheels and a Performance Package.
