Including the compact but capable Mazda3 and the sporty but efficient Mazda6, the 2019 Mazda sedan list is small, yet impressive. The Mazda6 continues to be a contender in its segment despite having only minor updates since its last overhaul in 2014. For 2019, the Mazda6 no longer offers a six-speed manual transmission, instead including only an automatic with a four-cylinder engine. G-Vectoring Control Plus comes standard across the board, giving the car maximum control over its stability, braking, acceleration, and more. Drivers can also get i-Activesense, with acceleration control, lane departure alerts, automatic high-beam and low-beam control, and front collision mitigation, on the Sport trim. The Mazda3 has been completely reconfigured for 2019, including its interior and exterior styling, a larger infotainment display, and new engine options for both its regular and high-performance variants. Mazda also gifts some available safety features to the car, like adaptive cruise control, rear cross traffic alerts, and a driver attention system.
