The RX is known for its luxurious comfort and quiet cabin, and its 2019 model is no exception. Eight-way power front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, and adaptive cruise control are just some of the standard perks. Every 2019 RX also comes with a suite of safety features, like automatic high-beams and forward collision warnings.
The all-new 2019 Lexus ES is slightly bigger and roomier than its outgoing model. Inside, a much-needed refresher brings higher-quality materials and updated technology to passengers. Both engines for the model year also receive a boost in power and slightly better gas mileage.
The NX goes unchanged for 2019. Drivers can choose from the gas-only or the hybrid configuration, each coming in just one trim level. Standard features for the lineup include an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment center, an 8-speaker sound system, adaptive cruise control, a rearview camera, and 60/40 split-folding rear seatbacks.
The off-road-capable LX returns mostly unchanged for 2019 except for the addition of an upgraded Lexus Enform Remote system with Alexa and smartwatch connectivity. Drivers can choose between a two-row and three-row LX. Both configurations include features like automatic wipers, fog lights, and running boards.
Lexus’ off-roading-meets-luxurious three-row SUV, the GX, now comes standard with blind spot monitoring and Alexa integration for 2019. Otherwise, the GX is mostly the same. The popular Luxury trim includes the most perks, like second-row captain’s chairs, upgraded upholstery, and an auto-leveling suspension.
The sporty 2019 IS gets an upgrade for its rear-wheel drive system to improve response times and performance. Drivers can now add the Lexus Enform Remote system and triple beam headlights to any model. An F SPORT package for any trim adds tuned suspension and 18-inch wheels for an athletic boost.
