The 2019 Ford Transit is a best-seller in the United States and deserving of it. Its practical yet smooth styling remains as modern as one can expect from a cargo van while still being functional for commerce. Three body lengths are selectable, as well as two wheelbases and three different roof heights depending on business needs. The medium and high height roof options now have a rearview camera standard. An LED lamp is a new addition to the cargo models, and extended-length running boards, scuff plates, push-down manual brake, D-pillar grab handles, heavy duty flooring, and short arm heated/power side mirror are now options as of last year. Entry-level engines start with a 3.7-liter V6 with 275 horsepower and 260 lb.-ft of torque. An EcoBoost option is available with a 3.5-liter V6 with 310 horsepower and 400 lb.-ft. There is also a 3.2-liter five-cylinder turbocharged diesel with Power Stroke for 185 horsepower and a hefty 350 lb.-ft of torque.
