Unknown to many people, the Chevrolet Express is still being released as a new vehicle 2019, some 23 years after it was initially released. That makes it (along with the GMC Savanna) the oldest “new” car on the market. Not much has changed since it was unveiled in 1996. This van keeps the same powertrain and transmission options it came out within the beginning: a 2.8-liter four-cylinder diesel, 4.3-liter V6, 6.0-liter V8, and a 6.0-liter V8 gas. To Chevrolet’s thinking, if it works, keep it. For a cargo van, the Express makes sense. It has an option of a towing capacity max up to 10,000 pounds, a maximum accessible payload of 4,282 pounds, and now even an available 4G LTE Wi-Fi hot spot built in for modern convenience. Various equipment packages can be customized depending on the driver’s van needs. There is even a cargo crew option to seat up to five people.
