Cadillac is an iconic brand in the auto industry, especially when it comes to coupes. The manufacturer was one of the first to introduce the coupe body style and it continues its tradition today with the ATS and the ATS-V, both of which lost their sedan siblings for 2019. Both coupes are still in their first generation, although the older ATS is beginning to show its age a bit more this year with only minor upgrades in recent model years. For 2019, the ATS will no longer have an optional manual transmission, available only with an eight-speed automatic paired to either a turbocharged four-cylinder or a V6 on upper trim levels. The ATS-V is only in its third year so significant changes won’t happen for the 2019 model, but the high-performance coupe returns with one well-equipped trim featuring an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment center, a rearview camera, 12-way power front seats, and Brembo brakes.
