2018 Toyota Yaris Review
The Toyota Yaris is the little car with big possibilities. Fill it up with people—it seats five. Or fill it up with stuff—there’s lots of room inside. And just look at it—whatever you do you’ll do it in style. Choose from three models: L LE and the sporty SE. The Yaris might look fancy but it’s surprisingly inexpensive to own. Low purchase price high gas mileage—you’ll have plenty of money left over for other things. With just over fifty inches of shoulder room and just under fifty inches of hip room the back seat can fit three adults. Or fold down the 60/40-split rear seat and there’s over 15 cubic feet of space for boxes dogs or boxes and dogs. Or other things if you don’t have any boxes or dogs. And there’s lots of technology. Standard Bluetooth and USB port—you can even get navigation with real-time traffic info. Choose from a variety of colors and accessories and build a Yaris that’s all yours. The Toyota Yaris. It’s the smart choice.
A car that looks as modern as the Toyota Yaris has to be loaded with technology right? Its Entune audio system comes with a touchscreen display six speakers a USB port with iPod connectivity and control voice recognition Bluetooth and much much more. You can even get navigation with real-time traffic info. Power windows and a 12-volt auxiliary power outlet are standard and remote keyless entry and cruise control are available. The Toyota Yaris. It doesn’t just look modern. It is modern.
Every Toyota Yaris comes with a comprehensive set of safety features. Standard equipment includes nine airbags and Toyota Safety Sense C which uses cameras and radar to scan the road ahead behind and to the side. If there’s a car in front of you your Yaris will slow and even come to a stop in some cases. If you start to drift out of your lane your Yaris will let you know so you can take corrective action. The Toyota Yaris. It’s safety on four wheels.
With its stingy 1.5-liter engine the Toyota Yaris gets great gas mileage. How does 36 miles to the gallon sound? And it’s fun to drive. Not many cars come with manual transmissions any more—but the Yaris does. So get in touch with your inner race-car driver and shift gears the way God and Parnelli Jones intended. Don’t worry though there’s an automatic available too. So are 16-inch alloy wheels. And SE models come with a sport-tuned suspension. The Toyota Yaris. It’s surprisingly fun.
