As Honda focused much of its attention on its sedan lineup for 2018, updating the Accord with a welcome interior and exterior refresh and adding new variations to the Clarity lineup, the brand’s SUV offerings took a back seat. The HR-V, in fact, was Honda’s only SUV to receive subtle updates, like a newly available color and some extra wheel design options. Otherwise, the HR-V remained the same with its three trim levels including standard features like a 60/40 split rear seat, a rearview camera, and a four-speaker sound system. The Pilot returned unchanged with five well-rounded trim levels and offering a Honda Sensing package with modern driver assistance technologies like automatic braking and adaptive cruise control. Following a 2017 redesign, the CR-V gets no notable updates and still offers its four trims, with the well-equipped EX consisting of a turbocharged engine, a sunroof, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a suite of accident avoidance technologies.
