The Dodge Grand Caravan has been the company’s only van offering for years, yet in 2018, it remains one of the leaders in its class. Dodge has been steadily phasing out some extraneous trims on the Grand Caravan to simplify its lineup into a more concise, easy-to-understand group. For 2018, Dodge dropped the GT trim mid-year, which included leather upholstery, a nine-speaker sound system, and integrated navigation, and repackaged its features into add-on groups or other trim levels. The rest of the lineup consists of three trims, with the base SE getting a backup camera, tri-zone automatic climate control, a six-speaker sound system, and a 6.5-inch touchscreen. The upper-level SXT adds convenience with fog lights, power-sliding doors, and automatic headlights. A DVD player, rear-seat entertainment, satellite radio, and blind spot monitoring are a few add-ons available as standalone features or in packages for the model year.
