The automaker streamlines the 2018 Cadillac Escalade with a shake-up of its exterior and interior color choices. It pairs down the powertrain to a 420-horsepower, 6.2-liter V8 engine with a ten-speed automatic transmission with rear- or all-wheel drive. It now has a Tire Fill Alert, heads-up display, and a Magnetic Ride Control adaptive suspension. The Platinum trim levels receives 22-inch wheels. The XT5 which replaced the SRX last year, gets an all-wheel-drive option for its 310-horsepower, 3.6-liter V6 power plant with an eight-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is the standard one. Both the exterior and cabin get some love with standard Brembo front brakes, an improved chassis, LED headlights, front styling, and a brand-new grille.
