Obtaining a combined city/highway fuel economy rating at 28 miles per gallon for 2017, the driving distance is a single mile per gallon better than the 2016 model. Presented as a smaller, lower-cost offering in the crossover market with the Subaru badge, the Crosstrek continues to preach affordable all-wheel drive versatility. A Premium Special Edition Subaru Crosstrek has been added for 2017 featuring distinctive interior touches and dark gray aluminum-alloy 17-inch wheels. For 2017, Subaru has discontinued availability of the Crosstrek Hybrid.
