The Ram brand enters 2017 with a diverse truck line ideal for work and pleasure. A new addition to the 2017 Ram product range is a Power Wagon version of the Ram Heavy Duty 2500 4X4. Receiving standard power from a 410-horsepower, 6.4-liter HEMI V-8 engine, the 2017 Ram Power Wagon is uniquely equipped 33-inch Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac tires, Articulink front suspension, front and rear electronic-locking differentials as well as a 12,000-pound capacity Warn winch. Special exterior, interior and lighting touches are also found on the off-road duty pickup truck. The off-roading-oriented Ram 1500 Rebel receives a host of standard features in 2017. An Uconnect 8.4 unit, anti-spin differential, rear backup camera and remote start are some of the new no extra cost items found with the 2017 Ram 1500 Rebel. On other half-ton Ram 1500 models, 2017 enriches the standard equipment on the Sport, Laramie Longhorn and Bighorn. A five micron cabin air filter is added to all 2017 Ram 1500 pickup trucks. During the 2017 model year, the Ram 1500 pickup truck is the only half-ton available with a diesel engine.
