Volkswagen offers several sedans. There’s the compact Jetta, mid-size Passat, and stylish four-door “coupe” CC. The Jetta offers turbocharged four-cylinder power and manual or automatic transmission, and a hybrid model. The Passat also comes with turbocharged four-cylinder power or a V-6 engine option and a choice of automatic or manual transmission, but no hybrid model. The CC offers turbocharged four-cylinder or V-6 power and either manual or automatic transmissions. It’s positioned as a more stylish, sporty alternative to standard mid-size sedans like its Passat sibling. Note that for 2016, neither the Jetta nor Passat offer diesel powertrain options.
