"BRZ" stands for Boxer engine, rear-wheel-drive, and zenith. The two-door sports car looks a lot like its distant cousin the Scion FR-S, in part because the two are based on the same vehicle, the Toyota 86. Although the 2016 Subaru BRZ does have a back seat, it's going to be an uncomfortable, cramped ride for anyone stuck sitting in it. When the car seats two passengers, there's plenty of room. The base model is the BRZ Premium. It has a decent amount of standard equipment, such as a 6.2-inch touchscreen with STARLINK Multimedia system, power mirrors and windows, manual air conditioning, and a tilt/telescoping steering column. The next model up, the BRZ Limited has automatic, dual-zone climate control, a spoiler on the trunk, heated front seats and side mirrors, and keyless entry. True to the BRZ's name, the 2.0-liter flat-4 engine is a "boxer" engine with 200 horsepower.
