Chevrolet offers trucks in two classes – the full-size Silverado and the mid-size Canyon. The Canyon offers either four-cylinder or V-6 power, two-wheel or four-wheel drive, and manual or automatic transmissions. For 2016, it adds a diesel engine and the availability of Apple CarPlay smartphone integration. The larger Silverado gets an exterior styling refresh, an available remote-locking tailgate, available Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, available wireless cell-phone charging, and other newly available features. In addition, the eight-speed automatic transmission is now available with the 5.3-liter V-8. The truck is available in regular cab, double cab, and crew cab configurations. A 4.3-liter V-6, a 5.3-liter V-8, and a 6.2-liter V-8 are available. There are also several heavy-duty versions of the Silverado available.
