Subaru offers three sedans – the Impreza, the Impreza-based sporty WRX, and the mid-size Legacy. All are available with all-wheel drive. The Legacy offers four-cylinder or V-6 power, while the Impreza has four-cylinder power only. The WRX, meanwhile, is poised to fight against vehicles like the Volkswagen GTI and Ford Focus ST – it’s a rally-inspired version of the Impreza with 268 horsepower, and an STI performance version makes even more power, while setting itself up to compete with the Volkswagen Golf R. The WRX is available with manual or continuously-variable automatic transmissions.
