A year of new names was the status quo for INFINITI in 2014. The carmaker introduced several new names, but there were very few changes, if any, actually made to the cars themselves. The new QX80 (formerly the QX56) offered an added collision mitigation system with new technology options, while the Q60 Coupe (formerly the G37 Coupe) would returned unchanged. The M luxury sedan was renamed to the Q70, offering better fuel economy, a new sport package and more tech options. The QX60 (formerly the JX) would offer new option packages and a new hybrid version. Finally, the all-new Q50 was released, offering a new take on luxury sedans with a hybrid version also available.
