Overview
Bigger. Stronger. Smarter. The all-new 2009 Mazda6 is refined. Propelling the Mazda 6 is a 2.5 liter DOHC 16-valve engine that produces 170 horse power along with the 3.7liter DOHC 24-valve V6 engine produces 272 horse power that gives the Mazda6 a fun and sporty driving experience. We felt it was important during the redesign to give the interior a sporty look. We achieved this continuity through features such as the leather steering wheel shift knob and parking brake as well as the steering wheel mounted controls and audio system which give the Mazda6 a truly sporty look and make it a fun car to drive. At Mazda we help protect passengers through active and passive safety features. An active safety feature such as the anti-lock brake system Electronic Brake Force Distribution and Traction Control Systems help the driver control the vehicle and avoid a crash. However we know that collisions will occur and that's why we have also developed passive safety features such as: airbag systems chassis design component safety features and crash management that help protect occupants during a collision. The 2009 Mazda 6 Zoom-Zoom just got amplified.
