Mazda's 2008 utility vehicles gain some noticeable upgrades. The Mazda Tribute is freshly restyled for 2008 and now offers the brand's first gasoline/electric hybrid powertrain in the United States. Fuel mileage for the 2008 Tribute Hybrid is rated at 34 miles per gallon city. The Mazda CX-9 is now powered by a 3.7-liter V-6 engine and offers the option of a Blind Spot Monitoring System. Refreshed styling and a five-speed automatic transmission have been added to the Mazda5. The small car line-up of Mazda is defined by minor changes for 2008.
