2007 Porsche Ratings, Reviews and Awards

Porsche continues the trend this year of revamping existing models for better power and handling. The beloved 911 gains a few new options, including new high performance, race-inspired GT3 along with the cabriolet and coupe models. Drivers can choose the Targa roof option, a full panel sliding glass roof that gives the model a full coupe look in a convertible option. The Cayman doesn’t offer a new 2007 model, but users can choose from two different power plants, a lower cost base or the Cayman S. The Boxter S now comes with the same 3.4-liter engine with VarioCam Plus camshaft and valve lift control that the Cayman has in previous models. The base models still sport impressive 245 horsepower. The Carrera GT, a sought-after sports model, doesn’t quite make it to 2007 in production, concluding in the middle of the 2006 year.
