MINI Ratings, Reviews and Awards

MINI’s small and trendy compact selection returns with some important updates for the 2018 season. The Cooper remains MINI’s cornerstone, and the basic Cooper model is now FWD with a 6-speed manual or 6-speed shiftable automatic transmission system. The Cooper’s FWD is joined by a 4-cylinder turbocharged option which allows the vehicle to get up to 38 highway miles per gallon of fuel efficiency. The Cooper Hardtop 2 Door FWD now has a 3-cylinder engine option, which renders 134 hp via its 6-speed manual transmission. MINI’s third hatchback, the Cooper Countryman, also has newly installed top rails for added cargo capacity. This capacity will easily be carried by the Countryman’s 4-cylinder turbocharged engine capable of 189 hp. A new hybrid edition of the Countryman has also been introduced with a 6-speed shiftable transmission, which offers 221 hp and also AWD or selectable FWD.
