2017 Mercedes-Benz E-Class ratings and reviews
2017 finds the E-Class in the midst of a great change. The next (10th) generation sedan and wagon are all-new this year, with a completely redone exterior and more features than ever before on the interior. The coupe and cabriolet models are due for an update and upgrade during the 2018 model year. The sedan and wagon platform is lighter and larger for 2017 and also offer a full suite of safety features, such as a Pre-Safe Sound system that's designed to minimize hearing loss as a result of impact noise. E-class sedans and wagons with the Premium 3 luxury package offer Drive Pilot, Car-to-X connectivity and a Head-Up Display. Engine options are based on vehicle type. The 2017 E-Class sedan has a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-4 engine while the coupe/cabriolet and wagon have a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine. Sedan and wagon models have a nine-speed automatic transmission while the coupe/cabriolet offer a seven-speed automatic.
