2016 Kia Forte ratings and reviews

The 2016 Kia Forte compact sedan has four doors and a surprisingly roomy interior, especially in the back seat. New for the 2016 model year is the addition of keyless entry on even the base level Forte LX sedan. Other standard features include air conditioning, Bluetooth and USB connectivity, and a split-folding rear seat. While the LX sedan does have some bells and whistles, it's also pretty bare-bones, especially when compared to the next step up, the EX trim. The LX trim has a manual transmission and steel wheels. The EX trim has aluminum alloy wheels and an upgraded engine. While you get a 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine with 148 with the LX, with the EX, you get a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with 173 horsepower. The one thing the 1.8-liter engine has going for it is fuel economy: it gets 39 mpg/highway.
