2016 BMW 3 Series ratings and reviews

BMW has updated its 3 Series slightly for the 2016 model year. The power steering gets a redesign, and the chassis gets new front struts. Two new models join the lineup, including the 330e plug-in hybrid, which has a Turbocharged 4-cylinder engine and electric motor with 248 horsepower. The 340i is also new. It has a 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-6 engine with 320 horsepower. Even the most basic models in the 3 Series offer plenty of standard features. The base model, the 320i, has rain-sensing wipers, dual-zone climate control, manually adjustable front seats, a nine-speaker audio system with a 6.5-inch display, and USB port. Safety features include active head restraints, eight airbags, and impact sensors that turn on the hazard lights, unlock the doors and turn off the electric system after a collision. Optional features include a Surround-View Camera, a foot-activated power trunk lid, head-up display, and navigation system.
