I have a particular soft spot for the Chevy Equinox. The oldest car child of The Car Dad, my older sister, had one when I was very young. Riding around with her as a little guy was awesome, because I didn't think of her as a real adult (she was) and I never got to ride ANYWHERE without adults! This one is a newer generation then my sisters, and you can tell that Chevy put a lot of work into making it fancier. I used to be impressed with the fact that the side mirrors could be adjusted by a joystick. There's a lot more on this one! Leather seats, a backup camera, an automatic tailgate, and heated seats all make this one much fancier than hers. The engine is an American 1.5L turbocharged 4 cylinder engine that produces plenty of of horsepower and torque for whatever driving style you use, and still gets 26mpg in the city and 32mpg on the highway.
